Austin Magic Auction Rules 2010
  1. All purchases are to be settled by cash, credit card, or approved check.

  2. No purchased merchandise is to be removed from the building until  they are paid for.

  3. The buyer will be expected to remove their purchases from the church after they are paid for.  The church has no storage area for our items after the auction.

  4. The buyer is the sole custodian of his or her purchases and the auction is not responsible for the safety of merchandise after it is distributed to the buyer.

  5. Disputes arising from simultaneous bids, etc. shall be resolved by resumption of bidding. THE AUCTIONEER'S DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

  6. This auction service shall not be liable in the event of accidental injury to persons attending this auction or while removing purchases.

  7. While descriptions are believed to be correct, the auctioneer or assembly make no warranties or guarantees.  Everything is sold "as is".  No warranties are made as to the merchantability of any items or their fitness for any purpose.

  8. Any items submitted to the auction must be in good working order.  We require some type of instructions.  They may be original, copies, or written.

  9. Sellers will be charged 10% of the selling price which goes to the assembly.  There is no buyer's premium or charge for a non sold item.  Admission to the auction is $10 for buyers, sellers, viewers, guests, or workers.

  10. When you have successfully won the bid for an item, please hold up your bidder's number in plain sight and call out your number when the nearsighted auctioneer makes such a request.

  11. Payments are to be made at the end of the auction in an orderly fashion and we do allow our out-of-town guests to check out first.

  12. No transactions of sales are to take place in this facility or on this property other than those of the Austin Magic Auction's auctioneers.  All sales are subject to the 10% sellers' fee.

  13. Seller's will receive a check approximately two weeks after the end of the auction which will be their sales total less 10%.

  14. If any unsold items must be shipped to an owner, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the seller's funds, or the seller may donate the items to the auction.

Our goal is for the attendees to have a fun, enjoyable time at our auction.  We want you to have a great time at the Austin Magic Auction.  We provide a service to the magic community and if you need any help or have a question, do not hesitate to ask an auction worker.
